Emergency first aid kits for dogs

There are some items that every pet owner should have on hand  just in case of an emergency.  I have compiled a list of things that we should have in a place  for these instances.

A muzzle (one that is not to tight) to allow panting, Latex Gloves, Hand Sanitizer, Sterile Pads, Gauze rolls, medical tape, scissors, tweezers, styptic or corn starch to control minor bleeds, oral syringe, benadryl for allergic reactions, light weight slip lead, blanket, towels, rectal thermometer and petroleum jelly,  antibiotic ointment, cleansing wipes, alcohol prep pads, crate, Hot and cold packs, eye wash, ear cleaning solution, Nail trimmer, saline solution, tick removing tool.

These are just a basic list of things to have handy.  I am sure there are some other things you could add.  Also some of these will be sized according to the breed of dog that you have.  Smaller bandages for small breeds and such.  It is better to have some stuff on hand because you never know what may happen.
